Once again, referrals and recommendations are at the backbone of so many things we have in our lives, I have some great apps for my iphone thanks to other people telling me "hey, I have the greatest app, you have to use it". Or from me saying, I wish I had the ability to do such-and-such, and then someone says "omg, let me tell you what I know".
So, for all you iphone users out there, my latest fav apps are:
- facebook (of course!)
- the kindle app - kinda thought this one was dumb when I heard it, cause why would you want to read on a small screen, but I like it for some things, like my daily devotional. I just roll over in bed when I get up, grab my phone and open it up, it is marked where I left off the day before, and I can just read my devotional and then I am good to go for the day (after a little one on one time the the man upstairs of course :) It also syncs with your kindle, so you don't have to have books in different places...SWEETNESS!
- Shazam or Sound Hound - fantastic way to get music, if a song is on you want to grab from itunes, but don't know the name or artist, open this little app, it will listen to the song and then give you the info! LOVE IT!
- words with friends - my fav game
- hanging with friends - neat little version of hangman
- GPS drive from MotionX - amazing FREE gps program
- diptic - a great little photo maker, easily make little collages and share them online
- find my iphone - self explanitory
- cut the rope - great game
- angry birds - another great game, highly addictive, there are support groups ;)
- have to drink and have to eat - great programs but not needed if you get the GPS mentioned above :)
- IMDB- little version of the website, if you are watching a movie and know that actor is so-and-so who was that guy in that movie you loved, this little app will look it up quick for you
- flickster - movie theatre info
- rope-n-fly - decent little game
- Train conducter - pretty entertaining game
- talking tom - great little app, fun for kids or at parties :)
